All James Hardie siding and trim products are available primed (with Hardie PrimePlus®) and ready for field painting. For most customers, we install HardiePlank® and paint it ourselves. But, for those looking for the most prestigious and durable product, Hardie ColorPlus® is an option.
When you choose ColorPlus technology, you get a VERY impressive 15 year paint warranty from James Hardie, alongside their standard 30 year warranty on the siding itself.
It does cost more for material and installation, since it must be installed and handled VERY carefully only by accredited Hardie contractors. BUT - with Color Plus siding you can skip at least 2 paint cycles, saving yourself thousands of dollars. How much did your last paint job cost?
